Publications
First, make sure that you keep yourself up to date about the Mothers Union.
Connected is a twice yearly membership magazine. This new magazine brings an exciting mix of content from across the whole movement. It contains regular updates about Mothers Union projects across the globe, and the difference they make to people's lives. As well as the latest news from fellow members, we encourage our readers to look at the impact of what we do from fresh angles. |
There is also an annual Prayer Diary providing monthly reflections and creative prayer ideas, which have come from the hearts of our members around the world. The Prayer Diary is also available on-line. |
Both Connected and the Prayer Diary are sent free of charge to all members.

Have enrolments in Church so that non-members will learn what we stand for.
Put a Mothers Union display in church. We have a number that you can borrow with various themes.
Display our leaflets at deanery synod.
When holding a fund-raising event, have a display to tell people about the cause.
To attract people in, why not put one of our eight foot banners outside the venue?
Tell the World
Talk to other organizations so that they are aware of what we can do.
Have a stall or display at flower shows, carnivals, and other local events.
Put a Mothers Union display in the local library.
Make sure the Mothers Union is included in town showcases.
MUe
The MUe raises important revenue for the Mothers Union but every card also advertises our values. Regularly have MUe merchandise at your branch and order items through your deanery reps so that our diocese will also benefit from the sales. And don't forget to wear your badge with pride. |
